With so many stands to visit and people to meet, how will you make best use of your time at Let's do Business?
Preparation will help you get the most out of your visit. There will be a lot of information thrown at you on the day, so why not use the checklist below to help maximise your visit.
PlanCheck who's exhibiting on the Confirmed Exhibitors page. How long have you planned to spend at the exhibition? Who do you most want to see in the time available to you? Remember the show is open for visitors from 10am - 5pm. Be realistic about how much time you will need to spend at the show.
Identify What is it you want to achieve from your visit? Are you after business advice or information? Do you simply want to make contacts with the business community or are you targeting a specific sector?
| Network Take plenty of business cards. Talk to as many people as you can. There will also be a lot of information available on the day. Collect as much as you can at the show and filter out what you don't need afterwards. The businesses you meet on the day could become a valuable contact or customer.
Follow-Up Touch base with prospective contacts immediately after the exhibition - either by phone or e-mail. Don't let those warm leads go cold.
