Making the most of a fantastic face-to-face opportunity

Exhibitions - both national and local - present a unique opportunity to reach hundreds of motivated buyers and potential customers in a short space of time...

... but it does take some planning to ensure you make the most of your investment. Thinking about the show the week or even one day in advance can often leave exhibitors with a feeling of "it was OK, but not great"...

Here's some questions you need to ask yourself in advance of exhibiting at a show. 

- What audience am I trying to target and who do I really want to speak to?
- What messages do I want to communicate?
- What resources do I have to achieve my objectives?
- What am I going to with my stand space?

They may sound simple, but they need careful consideration... and once you've done the hard work, don't spoil it by having inappropriate or poorly trained people on the stand.       

Ignoring passers-by, lacking product or service knowledge and eating on the stand are all big no no's
